Starting with Apple AirPods, the design is similar to the wired ear plugs Apple provides with its iPhones. The major difference is the absence of wires completely and hence the name. However, when looked closely AirPods also have sensors that were not present in the wired earphones.

Talking about the shape, they are designed in a way to fit perfectly in the ears. These comes in a compact case that is easy to fit in a pocket. One interesting feature of the case is that it charges the AirPods too, and it means you do not have to worry about your AirPods getting discharged.
