The Build 2014 event will be available for live streaming, as always, but if you want to make sure you don’t miss key Developer Conference session, then you can go ahead and download the Ch9 Events app for Windows 8. More details below.

The Ch9 events app has been available on the Windows Store for quite a while now, but if you didn’t know of its existence, you can go ahead and grab it right now, as it is available for free (download link at the end of the article). If you have a Windows 8 or Windows RT tablet, or any other Windows 8 or Windows 8.1 desktop device, you can make use of the app to stay updated with all the sessions that will take place at the Build 2014 event from the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

The application comes with a very small size of less than six megabytes and besides the upcoming Build 2014 event, you will be able to follow other important Microsoft events, such as TechEd and other Microsoft Channel 9 Events. It’s especially useful for developers, as they are the targeted audience at these conferences and events.

By using the app, you can easily build your agenda for various Microsoft events, submit session feedback online, get the latest event news and even view the conference floor plans, which is a really helpful feature if the event is taking place in quite a large venue. Make sure to download the app and follow Wind8Apps as we will be covering the most important happenings at Build 2014.

View session, speakers, venue information (including maps) and more from Build, TechEd and other Microsoft events. Plan your session attendance with or without network access (once you’ve downloaded the session catalog, it is available offline!) and your schedule is kept in sync with the same schedule available online on Channel 9.
